About the University History and Academic Asset Research Center

 Kokugakuin University established the University History and Academic Asset Research Center in FY2007 as a joint research organization under the Organization for the Advancement of Research and Development, with the aim of conducting research on the history of Kokugakuin University and academic assets held by the University, and disseminating the results of that research widely throughout society.
 This Center:1.Conducts research on the history of Kokugakuin University;2.Conducts research on the academic assets held by the University;3.Gathers, organizes, and exhibits resources;4.Conducts research on resources related to the Dr. Shinobu Orikuchi Commemorative Archeology Lab, the Dr. Seizo Kono Commemorative Lab, and the Dr. Yukichi Takeda Lab;5.Supports the dissemination of research results and the educational activities of the University; and6.Conducts other projects needed for the management of the Center.In order to fulfill these roles, this Center currently manages:(1)The University History Research Division;(2)The Academic Asset Research Division; and (3)The Dr. Shinobu Orikuchi Commemorative Archeology Lab Division.
