Collaborative Projects with Museums Working to Promote Japanese Culture

The Project Period of the Traditional Culture Research Center has Ended

In 2007, the Traditional Culture Research Center began promoting “Learning and Practice of Traditions Developed from the Study of Physical and Spiritual Objects,” a project supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Open Research Center initiative. This project came to an end in FY2011. We would like to express our deep gratitude for everyone’s support and interest in this project during the time it was running.
This page continues to exist to introduce the special events held by the now closed Traditional Culture Research Center that carried out that project, as well as an overview of the people who worked on the project, the project itself, and the results of the project.
Please see the following link for the old webpage that was used while the “Learning and Practice of Traditions Developed from the Study of Physical and Spiritual Objects” was still going on (current as of March 2012). Please understand that the pages that this webpage links to may be further updated in the future.
