Fostering the human potential that is crucial for elementary school and kindergarten teachers through the study of traditional culture as well as language and experience-based activities.

The Department deepens students’ understanding of educational settings and instills in them the human potential to elicit the capabilities of children through a curriculum that emphasizes experience-based classes. This is done by cultivating in them the high-level educational and instructional abilities they will need to teach children by having them absorb a broad range of knowledge that includes traditional culture, language, and the classics. This learning fosters human resources who are furnished with both the theory and practice to develop the human potential of children.
