Updated on Jul 28 2021

Students at the Faculty of Shinto Studies study Shinto as the foundation of Japan’s traditional culture, while also learning from other religions, and comparing and researching the special qualities of Shinto among other religions and cultures, in order to cultivate an understanding of the truth of Shinto. The Faculty aims to foster leaders who can act as a bridge between Japan’s culture and other cultures within our modern society in which many different sets of values intertwine.
