The Educational Development Center was established in order to realize education that complies with the founding spirit of Kokugakuin University and to promote improvement of the university’s organizational educative capabilities.

Mainly, this Center,

1. Conducts research/analysis/studies of various types of internal and external information required to assist in the education of students;
2. Plans/holds training sessions and lectures that contribute to the improvement of the educational competencies of the teaching staff
3. Promotes classroom evaluation systems and evaluations systems in the area of educational activities;
4. Improves educational facilities;
5. Conducts work related to all-university educational improvements, such as support for the running of classes by students, including student assistants;
6. Supports FD activities and so forth for each faculty; and
7. Manages the Institute for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning as a whole.

In addition to the above, the Center assists with applications for competitive funds, etc., necessary in pursuing the improvement of education at Kokugakuin University.
