Faculty of Law
The need to study law is increasing more and more as the internationalization and information orientation of today’s society advances rapidly. The Faculty of Law encourages students to acquire the legal knowledge that meets the needs of the times and aims to develop human resources that also have general knowledge of contemporary society and are able to solve various social problems. Another distinctive feature is the variety of courses that are offered in response to students’ diversified future career paths and problem consciousness.

Department of Law, Legal Specialist Major

This major is for those students who aspire to professions utilizing legal expertise. With an emphasis on small groups and highly concentrated, exercise-centered lessons, this course builds up students’ knowledge from the basic to the applied levels. In this way, students are trained in legal concepts while gaining advanced expertise and developing the ability to think logically.

Department of Law, Law Major

This consists of three courses—the Public Policies and Law Course which covers the study of various laws related to public policies, the Business and Law Course which includes basic laws for business and the International Relations and Law Course for the study of criteria to control relations between nations. Students taking this major can choose subjects flexibly according to their interests.

Department of Law, Political Science Major

This consists of two courses—the Analysis and Application Course which studies perspectives for analyzing the present state of politics in both theory and practice, and the History and Theory Course which covers the political history and theory of different regions of the world. Students can acquire the ability to think and act for themselves through exercise-focused lectures featuring interactive discussions between small groups of students and lecturers.
